BOURGES (Cher) September 15, 1814. Military leave signed by the Council of the 11th Regiment of VOLTIGEURS, ex Young Guard (Imperial) and by the General Count Jean-François LEVAL, as General Inspector. Leave of reform of a Soldier of the Empire, Sieur Jean François MARLINOT, Adjutant in the 1st Battalion, native of HANNONVILLE (Meurthe et Moselle; sic Erreur Moselle), Knight of the Legion of Honor in 1813. He made the Campaigns of 1805 to 1814 in Austria, Prussia, Poland, Spain, in the Grand Army, Wounded of two shots in 1807 and 1809. Engraved patent (26 x 42 cm), filled in with ink. Royal Vignette.
