DRUMONT Edouard (1844-1917): Rare handwritten card with preserved envelope, dated March 29, 1888 and addressed to Monsieur Fustier about texts to be corrected. Édouard Drumont, born in Paris on May 3, 1844 where he died on February 3, 1917, was a French journalist, writer, polemicist and politician. Founder of the newspaper La Libre Parole, antidreyfusard, nationalist and anti-Semite, he participated in the foundation of the National Anti-Semitic League of France. He was a member of parliament for Algiers from 1898 to 1902 and is one of the main historical figures of anti-Semitism in France.
