Seamaster 600 "Red Sector dial"- reference 135.011 Gold-plated dress watch with mechanical movement. - Round gold-plated case, smooth bezel, fluted crown, screwed caseback. - Matte black dial, sector dial painted in red, white painted and luminescent baton hour markers, straight golden hands, straight central second hand. - Black leather strap, metal pin buckle. Case, dial and movement signed. Movement: mechanical with automatic winding. Movement caliber 601 - numbered 23.676.889 (circa 1966) Case numbered 135.011 Diameter: 34 mm - Strap length: 16 - 20 cm As previously indicated in the catalog, the name Seamaster 600 does not refer to the depth but to the series of calibers 600 (here, the 601 manual winding). With this model we have the rare configuration of a black dial and a Sector dial painted in red, with the reminder of the logo in the same color. The case back mentions that the back is made of stainless steel and that the gold plating is 40 microns, a significant thickness where most brands used 20 microns (sometimes even less, hence the usual material losses). A similar model (without gold plating) can be found in the Omega Museum in Biel under the reference 1488 (page 291). Condition report: Good general condition, scratches from use and loss of plating on the case, the watch works at the time of the expertise, without guarantee of functioning in time, a revision of use advised.
