Pocket Chronograph for Australian Army Cadet Pocket chronograph watch in silver 900 thousandths with mechanical movement. - Round silver case, smooth bezel, fluted crown, oval bezel, rose gold olive pusher, officer's background with sunburst engraving and central medallion numbered E or W. - White enamel dial, black painted minute track and Arabic numerals, leaf hands, perpetual seconds at 9 o'clock, 30-minute totalizer at 3 o'clock, blued steel right central second hand for the chronograph function. Dial and case signed. Movement: mechanical with manual winding. Movement: unsigned - caliber 19 CHRO Case numbered 3.966.288 and 7 (circa 1906) Diameter: 53 mm Levinson & Sons in Perth is an Australian dealer of the Omega manufacture established in Victoria since 1854. The "WA" on the dial stands for Western Australia. This watch probably belonged to a cadet of the Australian army according to the research of Joel Duval. In 1906, nearly 20,000 army cadets were involved in training activities, where time measurement during events was of primary importance.
