Pocket watch - "Angelot with the tables of the Law", by Holy Pocket watch in silver 800 thousandths with mechanical movement. - Round silver case, smooth bezel, fluted crown, oval bezel, officer's back decorated with a woman reading the tables of the Law, watched by an angelot, in a floral decoration signed by the engraver Holy. - White enamel dial, minute track and Arabic numerals painted in black, blued steel sword hands, small right second at 6 o'clock. Case, dial and movement signed. Movement: mechanical with manual winding. Movement not numbered Diameter: 48 mm - Gross weight: 82.63 g The Holy Brothers Establishment, an artistic engraving workshop, was founded in St-Imier, Switzerland in 1893. The brothers François and Jules Holy were active in the manufacture and decoration of watch cases and medals and prints. In 1914, Holy received a gold medal at the Swiss National Exhibition in Bern. Condition report: Good general condition, good condition of the dial, use scratches and patina on the case, the watch works at the time of the expertise, without guarantee of functioning in time, a revision of use advised.
