Classique Automatic - reference 2398 Steel city watch with automatic movement. - Round steel case, smooth bezel, "Genève" horns, fluted crown, screwed caseback. - Silver dial, applied index and Arabic numerals, golden dauphine hands, small seconds at 6 o'clock. - Brown leather strap, metal pin buckle. Case, dial and movement signed. Movement: mechanical self-winding with bumper. Movement numbered 10.156.409 (circa 1944) Case numbered 2398 Diameter: 34 mm - Strap length: 16 - 20 cm A great classic in the 1950s, the small seconds at 6 o'clock, more or less highlighted, gave rhythm to the dial, here silvered with applied spiked indexes and painted Arabic numerals. The movement is automatic with stop/bumper and the lugs are described by the Omega Museum of Biel as "Cornes Genève". Condition report: Good general condition, patina on the dial, wear scratches on the case, the watch works at the time of the expertise, no guarantee of functioning over time, a service recommended.
