We were taken to Les Brotteaux to witness the demolition of various houses, which began today... Minutes to justify to the district of VIENNE LA PATRIOTE our efforts in this regard...” 15 Ventôse, Year 2 (March 5, 1794). 2 folio pages—Letterhead featuring the Phrygian cap + COMMUNE AFFRANCHIE (Lyon Rebellion). Northeast Canton—Birth certificate for a “boy” from the workshop of François Guinand, draftsman… to be used as appropriate by the Hospice of this commune. - Issued at our magistrate’s office in the NORTHEAST Canton of this Emancipated Commune on the 6th of Germinal, Year 2 (March 26, 1794) - Black seal - “The declarant was delivered by Captain NAUTHON, Health Officer...” - 1p in-8° oblong + RHÔNE, Lyon Rebellion. Copy of the minutes signed by the SANS-CULOTTES comprising the Provisional Administration of the District of the Countryside of the EMANCIPATED COMMUNE (Lyon), located at GENIS LE PATRIOTE (revolutionary name for ST GENIS, Rhône) — regarding Citizen DERVIEU DU VILLARD, who was placed under arrest. They hereby decree that Citizen VILLARD DERVIEU is granted full and unconditional release from the seizure and sealing of his properties located in the Commune of MILLERY (69). “Whereas it is acknowledged that the accusation made against him is insignificant... that he is considered a good citizen and a good patriot, and that he has even been the victim of harassment by the Rebels...” Done at Génis le Patriote on the 27th of Messidor, Year 2 (July 15, 1794) – P.S. Document signed with a collated extract - “In view of the petition from Jean-Baptiste FAURE, merchant, in which he requests reimbursement of the sum of 2,999 livres from the sale of bales of cotton, an amount that was paid into the Caisse des Domaines. 2 pp., large folio.”
