Ossip ZADKINE, Cubist painter and sculptor (1890–1967). Autograph letter signed in Paris on March 14, 1948, 1 page, in-4°: “Dear Madam. My wife, Valentine PRAX, and I would be delighted to come over for a cup of tea at your home on Sunday, March 18… Ossip ZADKINE. ” (Zadkine had married the painter Valentine PRAX in 1920; she was instrumental in the creation of the ZADKINE Museum through her bequest of 300 works by Zadkine to the City of Paris.)
