This image shows the pillars as seen in infrared light, allowing it to pierce dust and gases and reveal a more unknown - but equally astonishing - view of the pillars. In this ethereal view, the entire frame is strewn with bright stars and baby stars are revealed to be forming in the pillars themselves.
