[GARD - ARDECHE - OCCITANIE ]: Spiral bound 44 x 31 cm album containing 19 original pastel drawings depicting village landscapes in the Gard and Ardèche: Aumessas, Travers, Blandas, Pont d'Avèzes, la Couvertoirade, Saint Bauzile, then views of the Massif Central: Col des Mourèzes, Le Vigan, Paillerol... Year 1963. Drawings by Jean-Yves ROCHET. Jean-Yves Rochet is a French artist who graduated from the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 1946. After several years in Italy and Switzerland, he joined the ERCO agency in Paris as a designer, for whom he drew numerous advertisements, magazine covers and other publications. Two other albums of drawings by the same artist are included: 1/ mainly female faces and dancers; 2/ various subjects.
