NORTH. CHÂTEAU DE LUCHIN in CAMPHIN. 7 Mémoires et États des travaux exécutés au Château pour M. de KEMLANDT en Juin et Juillet 1813. In-folio format. Château de LUCHIN or LUCHAIN belonged to Catherine RECQ (widow of Pierre Jacques Joseph de BRIGODE DE KEMLANDT, who died in 1781 and owned the Château). During the French Revolution, the Château de LUCHIN narrowly escaped sequestration. On the death of Catherine RECQ, it became the property of the Comtes de BRIGODE. The Counts were also mayor of CAMPHIN-EN-PÉVÈLE (Nord).
