The Admiralty Council occupies me little and interests me even less; but I am a member of two other Commissions, one of which is in charge of important work concerning machines and mechanics in the Navy... we have, in fact, married young NUGEAUD to Melle de ST PAUL, sister of M. FLEURY. The young woman seems excellent, and it will depend on him to be happy. After the huge mistake he had made in leaving the Army, marriage had become a pressing need for him...".
