Christine Escher Interesting domed ring in 18K white gold 750 thousandths in ebony wood, studded with 12 modern-cut diamonds of 0.01 carat in closed setting on yellow gold, set in the wood, two identical diamonds set in the body of the ring. Signed, trace of French hallmark. Finger circumference: 55 - Gross weight: 13.5 g Note: Christine Escher is a jeweler and jewelry designer. After running a second-hand jewelry boutique in Paris in the mid-1980s, she began designing for Place Vendôme brands, including Van Cleef Arpels, at the very end of the 1980s. Now a jewelry designer in Meudon, her wood and diamond creations are sought-after. She won the prestigious International De Beers Diamond award in 1998 with a similar creation.
