General de GAULLE / Extremely rare original recording on PYRAL disc, i.e. acetate disc that was recorded in a studio, so it is a direct recording: General de Gaulle's speech of December 24, 1941, the General addresses the children of France through a fairy tale - it's perfectly audible on 78 rpm, the speech is launched by a speaker - the end, the very last paragraph, is missing, because recording time was limited - this speech is well known and the text can be consulted online, but there are a few differences, such as "our great allies, the English and the Russians" (online "nos alliés, les Anglais et les Russes" and "nos amis les Américains" (online "nos alliés les Américains" / Joint: Original period silver photo by Serge de SAZO (1915-2012, Russian-born photographer): he covered the moments of the Liberation of Paris, this one dates from August 26, 1944, it is the enlargement of the original cliché (refocused on the General) - although unstamped, this print is a genuine period print, it is not a countertype (24 x 30 cm, 2 stains due to runs during printing)
