BEN VAUTIER (1935-2024) Complete portfolio "Ben le Bon / Ben le Méchant", circa 1991. Silk-screened drawing board on both sides. Silk-screened text and drawing on back of 1st board: "This portfolio contains all my gossip, nonsense and texts published in Arthèmes between 1984 and 1990 (...)". The text is signed and numbered in pencil 22/150 and authenticated by the master's fingerprint. The box contains another thick black paper folder with the same "Ben le Bon / Ben le Méchant" silkscreens (wear and small tears on the hinges) enclosing the loose pages of the Art-Thèmes journal. The Art-Thèmes Paris Côte d'Azur journal, edited by Marie Lou Lamarque-Mouzon, published Ben's texts for over 10 years. Carton à dessin : 45 x 32 closed, 45 x 66 cm open. Nota bene : our edition is signed and numbered, unlike other editions frequently presented at sales.
