It's quite a feat to sum up a career as prolific as Robinson's (1921-1989) in a single image. He was as sweet as sugar, but won 173 victories in 200 fights. Mobile, hard-hitting, with a devastating left hook, he took down La Motta as well as "smoked" Fullmer. World welterweight and middleweight champion between 1946 and 1960. The best boxer of the 1950s.
