Cycling / Poulidor / Painting / Ventoux CAZARAMA Go Poupou Acrylic on wood board 89 x 102 cm The unforgettable Raymond Poulidor (1936-2019) immortalized by a young graphic artist-writer-painter, Philippe Cazaban, alias Cazarama, on the site of one of his greatest exploits, the Ventoux, where he triumphed in 1965. Where we believe he can still win a Tour, but finishes in 2nd place. Smiling, Poupou still enchants us with the famous BP of the oil tanker on the Mercier's purple jersey, which made his glory. Note the clever vintage "Catch" advertisement, very practical on the Ventoux, when the wind has forgotten a few mosquitoes.
