Weightlifting / Bodybuilding / Physical training MICHELIN Pair of steel and wood pulley extensor handles, marked "EXERCISEUR MICHELIN - FAIT EN FRANCE", circa 1900-1910 A rare example of the first French home exercise equipment of the Belle Époque, marketed in parallel with the Sandow craze. Presented in an "OLYMPIC" extensor box (1930s-40s), decorated with antique pediment, later cords (wear and oxidation from use; tired box).
