"COMMUNE DE PARIS" February 28, 1793 - 1p in-4° : "The named Etienne COUDUN, Citizen, has been placed in your house, among the prisoners, not by mistake, but because he insulted a private citizen to whom he was asking for alms, and gave him a blow with a stick; however, as this man seems sufficiently punished, we authorize you, Citizen, to place him among the good poor, in order, if he behaves well, to receive the help his situation requires."
