Autograph letter signed "DE ROUGEMONT", Paris June 26, 1817, to the editor of Annales politiques, morales et littéraires: "Monsieur, I am credited in the world with some of the political and literary articles in the Journal de Paris, and I have the honor of asking you to allow me to declare through your paper that since the beginning of this month I have been a complete stranger to the editorial staff of this journal...". 1p in-4° + Attached is a Billet A.S. addressed to M.
