Virgin Mary and Child, Qadjar Persia Ceramic tile in the typical style of the Qadjar period (Qajar/Kadjar) in shades of green, brown and blue, with the Virgin Mary in an oval medallion on a blue background, the spandrels decorated with arabesques and edged with manganese pink. Isfahan, Iran, 19th century. 33 x 23.3 cm (13 x 9 1/8 in). Impeccable condition.
