The Armenian inscription on the pedestal reads: Don de Sahatdji Hagop à l'église des Quarante-Martyrs et à l'école Navassart d'Estanos on April 1, 1768. Estanos or Stanoz is a village in the province of Angora (Ankara). Turkey, 18th century. Height: 23.5 cm Weight : 681 g.
