Rare silver altar crucifix with tetramorph from 1710 Important Armenian inscription on the back: Cross given to the church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Arapkir in memory of Mahdesi Petros, son of the deceased Mahdesi Hovhannes and his wife Hripsimé and his deceased son... and his brother Avétis in the year 1160. For the salvation of the souls of Mahdesi Petros and his wife Heghine, year 1160 (1710). Arapgir or Arapkir is a Turkish village in the province of Malatia where there were seven Armenian churches before 1915. H: 25 cm; W: 19 cm.
