Saint Nerses the Gracious (Ներսէս Շնորհալի), Jesus the Son (Յիսուս որդի), 1643 Venice, impr. by Hovhannès d'Angora (Հովհաննես Անկյուրացու) nella Salicata, 1643. In-8° (11.6 x 6.8 cm); 525 pages. With engraved plate, woodcut upper headband and bird initials. Text framed with simple wood fillets. A few ornamental woodcuts in the margins. The plate (G. Georgi fecit) depicts Patriarch Nerses preaching to the Armenians. Bound in contemporary cold-stamped calf with handwritten title page. Floral borders; central compartment divided into four sections by transverse cold-stamped fillets and cross and flower motifs. The title page has minor defects, but the text is intact. Pages slightly gnawed by worms (mainly in the white margins, but also some text missing). The last (white) flyleaf is missing. Nella Salicata (Սալիգաթաուի) refers to the Venetian street where the printing house was located.
