EBENISTERIE - Haentges Frères. Reunion of 24 original watercolor models on cardboard showing different models of furniture designed and manufactured by this house. Haentges Frères was active in the late XIXᵉ and early XXᵉ centuries, mainly in Paris, rue Titon (6 then 19). It was owned by brothers who specialized in luxury cabinetmaking. Furniture made by Haentges Frères is renowned for its fine craftsmanship and fidelity to historical styles. The wood, bronzes and finishes testify to a high level of craftsmanship. The company worked with master craftsmen, combining traditional French cabinetmaking techniques and sophisticated decorative details, with impeccable craftsmanship and top-of-the-range finishes. Furniture was often numbered or stamped: "ÉBÉNISTERIE - BRONZES / HAENTGÈS FRÈRES / PARIS". The company was founded around 1880 and was active until around 1930. Sizes of original models vary from 15 x 12 cm to 33 x 26 cm, with an average of 20 x 28 cm. Superb, well-preserved set, some pieces with annotations or house stamp.
