Exceptional necklace convertible into four detachable elements in 18K white gold 750 thousandths and cord consisting of : The central articulated element, entirely set with diamonds, can be worn as a rivière bracelet and is decorated in the center with a line of 11 old cushion-cut diamonds ranging in size from 0.50 carat to 0.10 carat in grain setting, extended on each side by 21 rose-cut diamonds. Length: 19 cm, gross weight: 12.88g Two complementary articulated elements, allowing the bracelet to be worn as a choker, are set with rose-cut diamonds and alternated by polished square links, probably from an earlier transformation. Total length: 17 cm, gross weight of both elements: 9.91g, A fourth black cord element, concealed under the case, has a metal lobster clasp holding two white gold ratchet clasp ends set with rose-cut diamonds. Length: 20.5 cm, gross weight: 2.44g, Total gross weight of the four elements: 25.23g. Presented in a two-compartment case bearing the name of the goldsmith Justlin DELATTRE (supplier to S. M. le ROI d'Espagne, 52 rue Etienne Marcel, Paris, silver medal Paris 1889). Provenance : Estate of Madame Monique Jacobé de Goncourt.
