Marcel WANDERS (1963) "VIP" Armchair, 2000 Steel, foam, and gray wool fabric Bears a label from the 2000 World’s Fair 80 x 68 x 58 Stains and signs of wear This VIP Chair was designed for the VIP lounge of the Netherlands Pavilion at the EXPO 2000 World’s Fair, held in Hanover, Germany. The label on chair No. 13 indicates that it was designed by Marcel Wanders and Karin Krautgartner, and then manufactured by DF Industrial. It also includes acknowledgments to Johan de Wilde and Rosalinda Lourens for the 44 special colors developed for this project.
