They are still in the Army of Italy. Their regiment is in the vanguard. The elder, since his wound at the Battle of MARENGO, has been made Second-Lieutenant, while the younger is a Maréchal des logis. I still hope that the victories won by General MOREAU will give us peace. We're waiting every moment for news from this part of the world.... Our Army is only 40 leagues from VIENNE.
