PHOTOGRAPHY - PRECURSE - Jean-Baptiste Vidal BOUJUT (b. 1829) / Original hand-colored group photograph presented in its black wooden frame (34 x 39 cm overall), photographer's dry stamp on the liner, circa 1856 - Vidal Boujut announced his move to 9 rue Saint-Appoline in Paris in an advertisement in the "Journal des Villes et des Campagnes" of October 1856, specifying his specialty of colored portraits sold at 15 fr in their frame. He was to move to Lyon in 1859 (stained marie-louise and frame with minor accidents).
