Aurélie de SOUBIRAN Princesse GHIKA(1820-1904, Woman of letters; Originally from Calvados, she moved to Paris, frequented literary and artistic circles and met Prince Grigore Ghika, whom she married in 1849, a happy love marriage that was shattered by the Prince's dramatic death, trampled by stampeding horses)/ Autograph letter signed, 1 p in-8, Lectoure (Gers), August 15, 1870: She places an order with the newspaper "Le Figaro" for "two maps of the theater of war"; she encloses a fragment of the newspaper's printed franking strip, on which appears her subscriber number (it should be noted that the administration of "Le Figaro" has transcribed her first name incorrectly ("Amélie" instead of "Aurélie").
