One of the organizers of the coup d'état of December 2, 1851 - 2 Letters and 1 Engraving: Letter signed from Paris on March 7, 1854, to the Director General of the Post Office, Bureau des Relais de Postes. (Arrival stamp.): "... I hasten to express my thanks to you for the initiative you have kindly taken to provide me with the postal service I will need when I leave for the Army of the East. It is only in the last days of March that I intend to be in Marseille; I will travel with only one aide-de-camp, and I will have only one carriage for which I will need two postilions and four horses... I would ask you to kindly give the necessary notices to the Postmasters of the line I will have to travel...". 2 pages in-4° + Autograph letter signed, Paris January 19, 1852, to Mr BÉRANGER: "The Review Commission has decided that your protégé, instead of being deported to Cayenne, should be expelled from France.
