NASA. LARGE FORMAT. Spectacular infrared image of the planet Saturn and Titan. At the perimeter of Saturn's ring, the F-ring is faintly visible. The F-ring was discovered in images taken by the Pioneer 11 spacecraft in 1979 and is not normally visible in images taken with terrestrial telescopes. Several of Saturn's smaller moons are also visible. This color composite image was produced using data from three infrared filters. 2009. Vintage chromogenic print. Reference on front. 40 x 40CM with margins.
