BALINCOURT CASTLE (VAL D'OISE). Letter A.S. "Le Général Sénateur Le Comte de BEURNONVILLE" at Château de BALAINCOURT (Balincourt 95) June 5, 1811. 4pp in-4° - to Monsieur le Président. His letter traveled twice from Paris to Balaincourt. He informs him of Madame de GOUVION's death. "I had to take away her excellent husband, who is with us in Balaincourt and whom we are consoling as best we can", then he speaks of a partition case in the Vendée department, under the jurisdiction of the Limoges senatorial district. He asks him to hand over the Titres de propriétés de la Sénatorerie de Limoges and all related documents and papers. "I would like to think that I will be able to imitate them; it is the worst service to Farmers to leave them in arrears; I know this from my experience and I am correcting myself...".
