Paris December 13 - 2pp ¼ in-8° - He asks a friend for a favor: "A young girl from a very good family, but painting flowers on porcelain, would like to use her talents and paint for Sèvres???..... I assured her that the thing seemed difficult to me, as flower painters must be the most numerous and you must not lack previous requests. As we were very pressing, I promised to write to you, the young lady being interesting... I regret that I am only in Paris very shortly, I would have been doubly happy to see you in the midst of your Museum and to be able to shake your hand..."
