CERTINA Rectangular “Antimagnetic” wristwatch in 18k yellow gold (750 parts per thousand). Circa 1945–1950 Rectangular ladies’ wristwatch in 18k yellow gold (750). - Rectangular case with stylized lugs in yellow gold. Brushed screw-down caseback engraved on the reverse with the 18K / 0.750 hallmark, the Swiss case hallmark (Head of Helvetia), the case maker’s hammer number 123, and the reference numbers 34650 / 30870. The inside of the case back is pearl-finished. - Cream/silver dial, signed Certina / ANTIMAGNETIC, with Arabic numerals (12, 3, 9) and applied gold dot hour markers. Small seconds at 6 o’clock and railway-track minute scale. Gold leaf-style hands. - Manual-winding mechanical movement, Certina KF 340 caliber (Kurth Frères), 15 jewels, marked Certina / SWISS MADE. - Double-wrap brown leather strap with a gold-plated metal pin buckle. Dimensions: 20 x 28 mm Length: 37 cm Gross weight: 21.55 g Condition: Good overall condition, with light scratches from normal wear. Hallmarks and serial numbers are perfectly legible on the back of the case. Plexiglass crystal showing surface scratches and a visible crack/chip in the upper right corner. Original dial with age-related patina and scattered light pitting/oxidation. Movement was opened during the appraisal. Caliber is clean and in working order.
