A spinach-green nephrite letter opener set in 800-th silver, the cylindrical handle, featuring a partially openwork rocaille-style decoration, is centered by a translucent white enamel ring set against a guilloché wave pattern, accented by four red glass cabochons in closed-set mountings. The piece is crowned with the double-headed eagle of the Russian Empire, which is double-sided; the handle is connected to the blade by two elements decorated with palmette motifs. Modern piece bearing the prestigious hallmarks of the House of Fabergé. Length: 23.5 cm Gross weight: 85.40 g (Damage to the enamel and handle; the nephrite blade is broken and has been reattached.)
