HAUTE-LOIRE. 1473. LE PUY-EN-VELAY. Document on vellum (11.5 x 35.5 cm) written on August 24, 1473. “The General Councilors of Finance for Languedoc have, through Master Loys NYNART, Treasurer and General Receiver of Finances for the region of Languedoc, received from Jean TEYSSIER, Receiver of the Diocese of Le Puy, the sum of 40 livres tournois, a sum which he may and will be required to pay in connection with his revenue collection … granted to the King in Montpellier in the month of April 1472 after Easter, and for which the general revenue has, for this bailiff, his Certificate of Controller for said revenue collection … the sum of 40 livres tournois to be taken from the assignment of Glande de Malheret by the said General Receiver to be converted and used for the purposes of his office for the war in Roussillon and otherwise …”.
