PLAINVAL (60). 2 vellum documents signed “François de FONTAINES, Lord of PLAINVAL.” On January 14, 1574 (10.5 x 30 cm) and July 12, 1574 (10 x 28 cm), from François de VIGNY, Receiver of the City of PARIS, the sum of 41 sols and 8 deniers in Tournois as an annuity, “on behalf of Dame BARBE, my late wife, heiress of the late Master Guillaume ALLART, during his lifetime, Counselor to the King at his Court of Parement, to whom the said annuity was sold and assigned by the Provosts of Merchants and Aldermen of the City of Paris… from the revenues, profits, and emoluments of the salt warehouses and granaries of Montfort-L’Amaury, Château-Thierry, and Montargis, sold and transferred by the King to the said City….”
