Document signed “Jean-Baptiste DE TASTES DE LILANCOUR, Infantry Brigadier of the Colonial Troops, Knight of the Royal and Military Order of Saint Louis, and Commander-in-Chief of the French Islands of Leeward America and their dependencies. ” (Printed letterhead, small royal coat of arms.) Issued at CAP (San Domingo), June 21, 1781. – It is ordered that Mr. Nicolas Barthélemy GÉRARD, Second Captain of the DALEU Company in the Cambrésis Regiment, be transferred in that capacity to the Grenadiers Company of said regiment. Red wax seal bearing our coat of arms – 1 folio page, partially printed.
