SEINE-ET-MARNE. 1816. “Court of First Instance of the District of PROVINS.” By judgment of June 12, 1816, a laborer and two masons, all three residing in NANGIS, who stood accused and were found guilty of spreading and giving credence to a rumor intended to alarm citizens regarding the maintenance of legitimate authority, were sentenced to imprisonment and fines.
