Bean descending the ladder of the Intrepid lunar module during the Apollo 12 mission. It was taken during the first moonwalk on November 19, 1969. The low position of the Sun gives the image a dark lighting and long shadows. Apollo 12 was the second manned mission to land on the Moon and achieved a highly precise landing.
