It shows the Falcon lunar module, with St. George Crater visible in the background. The image was taken during the astronauts’ second moonwalk. These panoramas helped place the rock samples in their geological context. Today, they serve as a major reference for the study of the lunar landscapes explored by Apollo 15. 1971.
