Victorine de CHASTENAY-LANTY, Memoirist (Paris 1771 – Châtillon-sur-Seine/ Côte d’Or 1855) Daughter of a deputy from 1789, she met Bonaparte in 1795; as a socialite, she mingled with politicians. Letter A.S. signed “Victorine,” June 27, 1854, 1 p., in-8°. She asks her physician in Châtillon-sur-Seine to treat a wet nurse, a worthy woman suffering from a severe headache. “Little Louis Victor ODIN, my godson and my father’s godson, is the son of Henri ODIN, my brother’s godson and mine as well. I am therefore at least a great-godmother, since I am nothing else…”
