The last columns of the Church. First edition, published in Paris, by the Société du Mercure de France, in 1903. Covered with a brocaded cover. A fairly well-preserved copy: the bound cover has been restored. Inside quite fresh with some light brown spots. Léon Bloy, born July 11, 1846 in Périgueux and died November 3, 1917 in Bourg-la-Reine, is a French novelist and essayist. Known for his novel Le Désespéré, largely inspired by his relationship with Anne-Marie Roulé, he is also a famous polemist.
