All golden slices. Illustrated under the direction of A. Root of 16 chromolithographs and 250 woodcuts (including 20 off-text), after Watteau, Vanloo, Largillière, Boucher... Cardboard in good condition, bright gilding. Rubbing on caps, bits and corners. Inside quite fresh, some freckles. Good copy.
