Commemorative watch for a presidential trip to Switzerland Blackened steel pocket watch with mechanical movement. - Round steel case, smooth bezel, fluted crown, oval bezel, officer's back. - White enamel dial, Arabic numerals "Empire" painted in black, golden "Stuart" pear hands, small second at 6 o'clock, mention of the French presidential visit painted in black at 12 o'clock. Case, dial and movement signed. Movement: mechanical with manual winding. Movement not numbered Case numbered 4.190.631 (circa 1910) Diameter: 50 mm The President of the French Republic Armand Fallières (1841 - 1931/President from 1906 to 1913) visited Switzerland on August 15 and 16, 1910. The dial of this commemorative watch recalls this official visit. A similar model can be found in the Omega Museum in Biel under the reference 8140 (page 241). Condition report: Good general condition, accidents on the dial, wear scratches and patina on the case, the watch does not work at the time of the expertise, without guarantee of functioning in time, a revision of use advised.
