Women's sport/Rowing/Première/Suresnes. Two pieces: a) Extremely rare uncut invitation card to the International Regatta of Paris on Sunday June 14, 1931. It mentions the "First International Women's match with eight rowers", please. It was one of 19 races of the day, and over 1000m, Entente Parisienne beat Alpha RC of London, by a length and a quarter. The eight French pioneers were: Melles Rocheux, Lambert, Chevassus, Bellut, Leleu, Henry, Philippon, and Lefevre. They came from Académia, Fémina or La Ruche. 12X15; b) original press photo, the 4 of La Ruche, which just beat Académia in the Traversée de Paris, 1938.
