"We Reward, Mayeur, Échevins, Conseil des Huit-hommes de la Ville de LILLE, having been represented our Political Ordinance of April 22 last concerning the conservation of the Manufacture of Hats which are manufactured in this city..,... we declare that under the words "Chapeaux communs" (common hats) we mean all hats worth 40 Patars a piece which are 10 Patagons a dozen below, leaving out the others which will be of higher price for fine hats... désirant éclaircir l'article 19 du Corps Métier des CHAPELIERS... il n'est pas défendu leur de faire venir ou débiter Chapeaux de Castor, Demy castor, Vigogne, Demy Vigogne, Loutres autres chapeaux fins venus du dehors, en observant le prescrit de notre ordonnance...
