Follow-up of the order of Pierre PAJOT, knight, Intendant in the Generality of MONTAUBAN (82). Done this 15th March 1730. .. The King's arrest "to stop the introduction & sale in the Kingdom of prohibited Draperies & Fabrics... Merchants remove the seals and marks that must be at the head of each piece and publicly sell these draperies thus disguised; and when they are recognized, they maintain that they are of French manufacture..."
