SAINT SIMONISME
Letter A.S. Isaac PEREIRE Businessman, Banker, with his brother Émile PEREIRE, from Saint Simonism. (Bordeaux 1806 - Château d'ArmaInvilliers (77) 1880) Letter from Paris this 1st April 1832, to Alexandre BAUDET-DULARY Doctor, Deputy of Seine-et-Oise from 1831 to 1834, sitting on the left near Fourier, he then devoted himself to the development of the Phalanstériennes ideas. 2pp in-8° - "Last Monday I asked Mr. BAUD to come to your house to find out if you wanted to exchange the Saint-simonienne pension registration, which you have, for a new one signed by Michel CHEVALIER; he told me that you had submitted this registration to be cancelled. Yesterday, however, we went to our caisse to receive the interest coupon due on April 1st; on the basis of your answer, I refused to pay it. Would it be an abuse of your complacency to ask you to confirm to me the answer you gave to Mr. BAUD?..." -
